In the last two years, Chicago has become an epicenter of emerging talent. With up and coming acts like The Cool Kids, Kid Sister and Flosstradamus making themselves household names, it makes sense that out of that fruit bowl of goodness there might come tumbling out a band which adds some funk – a whole lot of funk- to the party scene. The band I’m talking about, of course, is The Bees Knees and they’ve taken over with a new school approach to Parliament-esque, bass heavy, pulsating, fist-clutching, face-scrunching funk! After seeing The Bees Knees just once, you’ll know exactly what all the buzz is about. Say it with me slowly, Beeeeezzzz Kneeeezzzz.
